Olu Oyinsan, is the managing partner at Oui Capital recently transitioning from Vice President role leading investments at Ingressive Capital, an early stage Silicon Valley backed venture fund.
Before launching Oui capital, Olu started his career in commercial banking with Nigeria’s Guaranty Trust Bank-later working as a TEI Consultant at Forrester, a global market research firm advising some of the biggest technology companies. Forrester’s TEI (Total Economic Impact) practice helps technology companies determine the enterprise value of technology products and processes. Here he worked with clients ranging from IBM, Google to startups including Qlik and Cylance and Top coder (Acquired by Appirio).
He most recently worked in Silicon Valley Bank’s Early Stage Practice working with technology startups in all verticals across the east coast supporting debt, equity and mezzanine products for startups. He holds an MBA from Hult International Business School, Boston with a concentration in Finance and Strategy. His experience is spread across credit risk, technology valuation and venture Capital. He is very passionate about financial technology, two-sided networks and connectivity haven made and managed investments in several high growth startups in Sub-Saharan Africa including Awabike, Paystack, MVX, Wifi.com.ng, Ogavenue, and TaxiTv. Some of who raised follow-on funding from later stage investors including Visa, Stripe, 4DX and Tencent.
